Attorney Henry Klein of New Orleans, LA; ethical troll
The state of Louisiana presented Henry L. Klein with a law license in 1968 after he graduated Tulane University School of Law.
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Hank guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
-
Failed to fully cooperate with the ODC in its investigations (Up yours, said Hank!)
-
Filed frivolous removal actions solely to delay state court proceedings
-
Falsely accused opposing counsel of engaging in criminal activity
-
Disobeyed court orders (Screw you, said Hank!)
-
Had ex parte (one-sided) communications with a law clerk
-
Inappropriately contacted third party attorneys and non-attorneys
-
Made unfounded, inflammatory comments regarding the integrity of a judge and other legal professionals
-
Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted, or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
-
Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
-
Engage in conduct that was prejudicial to the administration of justice
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Hank by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. July 2022), Hank practices his so-called brand of law at 201 Saint Charles Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana.
