Attorney Harold Burbank II of Canton, CT; moronic slacker

The state of Maine presented Harold H. Burbank II with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of Maine School of Law.

The Grievance Commission of the Maine Board of Bar Overseers found Harry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to act fairly in dealings with opposing party and counsel
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Violated or attempted to violate a provision of either the Maine Rules of Professional Conduct or the Maine Bar Rules, or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Misconduct caused substantial injury to the parties involved

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court punished Harry by gifting him with a complimentary 12-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2022), Ralphie practices his so-called brand of law at 84 North Mountain Road in Canton, Connecticut.
