Attorney Joseph Mendoza of Tucson, AZ; dimwitted loser

The state of Arizona presented Joseph N. Mendoza with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Joey guilty of engaging in the following conduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)
  • Made false statement of material fact to ethics investigators (Screw you, said Joey!)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Violated duties he owed to the legal profession
  • Clients suffered financial and non-financial harm was assessed substantial fees and costs
  • Opposing party and counsel were forced to defend against frivolous filings
  • Joey’s actions needlessly exacerbated already-contentious litigation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license and assessed State Bar costs of $1,298.40.

As we speak (ca. February 2022), Joey practices his so-called brand of law with West Elsberry Longenbaugh & Zickerman PLLC at 310 South Williams Blvd in Tucson, Arizona.
