Attorney Peter Menges of Denver, CO; serial drunk, repeat offender

The state of Colorado provided Peter D. Menges with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law.

The Colorado State Bar found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

Pete’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Pete was subject to a criminal protection order prohibiting him from contact with a former girlfriend
  • Pled guilty to disorderly conduct
  • Failed to report conviction to State Bar as required to do
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Pete by gifting him, with a complimentary censure.

Pete’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Repeatedly appeared at court proceedings while under the influence

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Pete by gifting him, with a complimentary stayed 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2021), Pete practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Office of Peter D. Menges PC at 140 East 19th Avenue in Denver, Colorado.
