Attorney John B. Cameron of Medina, OH; deadbeat loser

The state of Ohio provided John Brooks Cameron with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the Ohio State University Law School.

The Medina County Bar Association’s Grievance Committee found John guilty of the following misconduct.

The misconduct involved Johnny’s conduct while he was being sued for nonpayment of $5,000 in fees owed to an expert witness he had previously employed. In an effort to avoid having a default judgment granted against him for the $5,000, Johnny decided to lie to the judge that he had settled the matter with the expert and his attorney.

When the expert’s attorney discovered Johnny’s outright lie, he and the expert filed affidavits with the Court to prove that they had never agreed to any settlement with Johnny for the $5,000 he owed.

The Medina County Bar recommended to the Ohio Supreme Court Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline that Johnny’s law license be suspended for six-months.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary one-year stayed suspension of his law license. In other words, Johnny never received any punishment at all!

As we speak (ca. May 2012) John practices law with John Brooks Cameron & Associates at 247 East Smith Road in Medina, Ohio.
