Attorney Anthony Mengine of Pittsburgh; thieving loser

The state of Pennsylvania provided Anthony Charles Mengine with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Loyola University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Tony guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Misappropriated [stole] client funds
  • Improperly used client and third party funds in thirteen matters totaling $235,000 over two years to meet business expenses
  • Failed to promptly distribute funds to parties entitled to same
  • Failed to properly maintain an IOLTA trust account
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Failed to disclose on his attorney registration from all accounts holding entrusted client funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 9-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2021), Tony practices his so-called brand of law with Kontos Mengine Killion & Hassen at 603 Stanwix Street in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
