Attorney Christi Lee Brown of Lima, OH; ethical elf

The state of Ohio presented Christi Lee Brown with a law license in 1994 after she graduated from Capitol University Law School in Columbus, Ohio.

The Allen County Bar Association (Lima, Ohio) found Christi guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to provide competent representation to clients (moron)
  2. Refused to return unearned fees to clients (thief)
  3. Failed to respond to repeated requests for information from her clients (victims)
  4. Failed to notify a client when funds were received on behalf of the client
Christi’s Hyperbolic (BS) Defense to Abandoning her Clients

When explaining the reason why she basically abandoned her clients by refusing to respond to their repeated calls, Christi defended her action by admitting she “was doing wrong” and then said “it was easier to do something else than it was to address these situations.”

In truth, Christi the Loser decided that it was easier to screw paying clients then provide the legal services they had already paid for. This then allowed Christi time to expand her future victim pool.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Christi by gifting her with a one-year suspension of her law license that was stayed, meaning she didn’t receive any punishment at all.

As we speak (ca. May 2012) Todd practices law at 212 North Elizabeth Street in Lima, Ohio, which is about 70 miles south of Toledo.
