Attorney William M. Wainwright of Brockton, MA; ethically deprived

The state of Massachusetts provided William M. Wainwright with a law license in 1971.

The Massachusetts Bar of Overseers found William guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Appointed himself as executor of a will for a close friend
  2. When drafting friends will he specifically bequeathed himself a valuable gift
When the friend passed away, William submitted the will to be probated in the local court. When the decedent’s real heirs got wind of Williams’ self-dealing they immediately contested the fact that he appointed himself as the executor of the will. They also raised hell that William had engaged in egregious misconduct by listing himself as a beneficiary of the will.

This type of stealing from the dead is disgusting to say the least; however, you’ve got to be a big time louse to screw the heirs of a close friend like Bill so cheerfully did.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished William by gifting him with a public reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2012) William practices law with Wainwright & Wainwright at 255 North Pearl Street in Brockton, Massachusetts.
