Attorney Matthew Talley of Akron, OH; dimwitted slacker  

The state of Ohio presented Matthew William Talley with a law license in 2014 after he graduated from the University of Akron School of Law.

FYI: The University of Akron is ranked as the 147th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Akron Bar Association found Matty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Matty!)
• Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to explain matter to extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
• Failed to provide client contingent fee agreement in writing, which is to be signed by the client and Matty
• Failed to provide client with closing statement regarding contingent fee agreement
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to maintain separate account records for each client
• Refused to assist or testify in an ethics investigation or hearing (Up yours, said Matty!)

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Matty by the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court.
