The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

In one matter, Johnny posted an inappropriate Facebook post regarding a candidate who was at the time

running for a law enforcement position.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct Committee punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

  • Johnny publicly displayed on his Facebook page two photographs of himself wearing an Ontario County Sheriff’s uniform
  • On his Facebook page, Johnny expressed his appreciation for law enforcement officers and described his appearance at a “Back the Blue” event, which was held to show support for law enforcement
  • Failed to avoid extrajudicial conduct that cast doubt on his impartiality
  • Johnny’s Facebook posts would reasonably question his impartiality when he presided over cases involving law enforcement

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct Committee punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. April 2021), Johnny continues to practice his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a Justice of the Gorham Town Court, Ontario County, New York.
