Attorney Kevin Monahan of Palatka, FL; slacker, repeat offender

The state of Florida presented Kevin Robert Monahan with a law license in 192 after he graduated from University School of Law.

The Florida Bar Association found Kevin guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Kevin’s 1^st bite at the attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Did nothing on client’s behalf leading to default judgment being render against his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

Kevin’s 2^nd bite at the attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to appear for court in two separate criminal matters
• Kevin’s clients were unable to have their matters heard and because of his failure to appear in court
• Due to Kevin’s negligence, the trial judge removed him in both cases as appointed counsel
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary 10-day suspension of his law license plus disciplinary costs of $1,633.57.

As we speak (ca. February 2021), Kevin practices his brand of law in Palatka, Florida.
