Attorney Paul Rubin of Phoenix, AZ; dimwitted slacker

The state of Arizona provided Dianne N. Sullivan with a law license in 2014 after he graduated from Hamline University School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Paulie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as an assistant prosecutor.

• Failed to act with competence (dimwit)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed in his special responsibilities as a prosecutor
• Violated his duty to both the public and his client
• Negligently failed to disclose the PBT/HGN results
• Negligently failed to correct NJ’s testimony
• The extent of the actual or potential injury
• Conduct caused actual harm.
• Misconduct caused defendant’s conviction to be overturned, and the case as dismissed with prejudice (meaning it could never be prosecuted again)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Paulie practices his brand at 23865 North 21st Place in Phoenix, Arizona.
