Attorney George Lawler of Fairfield, CT; dimwit, serial offender

The state of Connecticut presented George Joseph Lawler with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Bridgeport School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Georgie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Default judge entered for legal malpractice for $25,000 entered against Georgie
• Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with his client
• Failed to comply with a court order (Up yours, said Georgie!)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As one would suspect, this was not Georgie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received ten (10) complimentary reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Georgie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Georgie practices his brand of law with the Law Offices of George Joseph Lawler at 325 Reef Road in Fairfield, Connecticut.
