Attorney Caleb Pilgrim of New Haven, CT; dimwit, repeat offender

The state of Connecticut presented Caleb M. Pilgrim with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law.

FYI: Quinnipiac University School of Law is ranked as the 169th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Caleb guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)
  • Failed to advise his client that a security bond needed to be posted
  • Failed to advise his client of the decision on a motion for summary judgment in Federal Court
  • Failed to respond to numerous certified letters from his client
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failure to comply with court order led to client’s case being dismissed

As one would suspect, this was not Caleb’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received one (1) complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Caleb by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Caleb practices his brand of law with the Law Office of Caleb M. Pilgrim LLC at 1404 Whaley Avenue in New Haven, Connecticut.
