Attorney Patrick Osmond of Gunlock, UT; lying loser

The State of Utah presented Patrick Osmond with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Law.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme found Patty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to provide an accounting of regarding excavating company and used the funds of the company to pay bills to a development company
• Advised client that payment had been made to excavating company, however, the company confirmed that no payment had been made

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Patty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
