The state of Maryland presented J. Phillip Keller with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Phil guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

In one matter, Phil represented a client when the representation of that client may have been materially limited by his responsibilities to a third person or himself and he could not have reasonably believed the representation would not be adversely affected.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Phil practices his brand of law with the Law Office of J. Phillip Keller at 30224 Chestnut Ridge Lane in Trappe, Maryland.
