Attorney Marc Wertheimer of Bethesda, MD; moronic scammer

The state of Maryland presented Marc Wertheimer with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Michigan School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Marc guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to recognize that his representation of one client was directly adverse to the interests of other clients in violation of
  • the prohibition against conflicts of interest
  • Represented an estate in probate proceedings while representing the decedent’s former business partners who had claims against the estate based, in part, upon written agreements drafted by the Respondent and previously executed by the decedent and his partners

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Marc by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Marc and his firm failed to disclose the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.selzergurvitch.com. Apparently, they decided to conceal said relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. August 2021), Marc practices with Selzer Gurvitch Rabin Wertheimer Pollott Obecny PC at 4416 East West Highway in Bethesda, Maryland.
