Attorney Brandy McShane of Springfield, MO; buffoon, bungler

 
The state of Missouri presented Brandy Mellissa McShane with a law license in 1993.
 
In the recent past, a disciplinary hearing panel found Brandy guilty of the following misconduct:
  1. Failed to respond to client inquiries
  2. Failed to keep clients informed about the status of their case
  3. Refusing to respond to disciplinary panel requests for information
  4. Failed to act diligently (slacker)
  5. Failed to communicate with her clients
  6. Neglected court ordered responsibilities as a guardian in a probate matter
Brandy’s misconduct involved at least two couples who unfortunately employed her to deal with probating the estates of their loved ones. Sadly, these folks really did get probated the hard way!
 
As a consequence of her misconduct, the enthusiastic supporters of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Missouri Supreme Court punished Brandy by providing her by placing her on probation.
 spared the punishment she so cheerfully visited upon her unwitting victims.
 
As we speak (ca. May 2012) Brandy continues to practice law in the Springfield area.
