Attorney Mark Ciaravella of Tampa, FL; ethical gnome

The state of Florida presented Mark Wilfred Ciaravella with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the Barry University School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Mark guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Ignored numerous orders from the Second District Court of Appeal to follow protocol (Screw you, said Mark!)
• Filed notice of appeal on client’s behalf without the filing fee or certificate of indigency status
• Failure to follow court orders led to removal as counsel by the Court of Appeal

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary 15-day suspension of his law license and assessed investigative costs of $2,601.09
