Attorney Peter Robertson of Saint Augustine, FL; ethical gremlin

The state of Florida presented Peter Arnold Robertson with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Nova Southeastern University School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Pete guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Engaged in sexual conduct with a client or a representative of a client that exploited or adversely affected the interests
  • of the client or the lawyer-client relationship
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Improperly acquire a proprietary interest in client’s cause of action
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest involving two or more clients

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2020), Pete practices his brand of law with The Robertson Firm at 5575 A1A South in Saint Augustine, Florida.
