Attorney Filosa Graff of New York City; scamming fraudster

The state of New Jersey presented Filosa Graff with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from Temple University School of law. Filosa also received a license to practice in Pennsylvania in 2005 and New York in 2008.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Filosa guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Provided opposing counsel with an inaccurate economist’s expert report that failed to reflect the fact that the plaintiff in an employment discrimination suit had already obtained new employment at a higher salary than she had been earning previously
  • Failed to correct false answers that his client provided at depositions
  • Attempted to leverage the false expert report into a favorable settlement

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Filosa by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Filosa fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.filosagraff.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Filosa practices with Filosa Graff LLP at 111 John Street in New York, New York.
