Attorney John Penberthy III of Voorhees, NJ; scofflaw

The state of New Jersey presented John C. Penberthy III with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School. Johnny also received a law license to practice in Pennsylvania in 1990.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
  • Continued representation of client during time he knew was not eligible for his failure to complete and self-report his compliant with Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment

And lastly, as one would suspect, Johnny fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.penberthylaw.com. . Apparently, he decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Johnny practices with the Law Offices of John C. Penberthy at 113 White Horse Road West in Voorhees, New Jersey.
