Attorney James Kirkpatrick III of Waynesville, NC; ethical leprechaun

The state of North Carolina presented James Weaver Kirkpatrick III with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Regent University School of Law.

FYI: Regent is ranked as the 179^th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly supervise nonlawyer staff, and as a result, his staff did not verify wiring instructions before transmitting a seller’s loan payoff
• Failed to immediately report the wire fraud to the State Bar’s Trust Account Compliance Counsel

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Jimmy practices at 37 Branner Avenue in Waynesville, North Carolina.
