Washington’s 2019 Ivory Soap Ethics Rating for Attorneys = 99.85%

Ivory Soap advertises a purity rating of 99.44%. In the Washington legal system, there are 32,573 attorneys practicing throughout the state. For the year 2019, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court handed out the following complimentary sanctions against fifty-nine (59) attorneys for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

  • 3 = number of admonitions
  • 16 = number of reprimands
  • 20 = number of suspensions
  • 12 = number of disbarments
  • 5 = number of resignations with discipline pending
  • 3 = number of admonitions

This laughable finding by the comedians sitting on the Washington Supreme Court means that Washington’s 99.8% Ivory Soap Purity rating for 2019 is preposterous in that it indicates the near impossibility of finding a dishonest or incompetent attorney.

This would mean that if all 32,573 attorneys attended a football game at Washington State University’s Martin Stadium with a seating capacity of 30,000, it’d be nearly impossible to locate the fifty-nine (59)  unethical and/or incompetent attorneys even if they raised their hands in unison.

Gosh and Gollies and Gee Whillickers, you folks in Washington are quite fortunate to live in a state where almost 100% of your attorneys are Ethical and/or Intellectual Giants.

FYI: The ethical purity of Washington attorneys has increased since 2018. In 2018, the Supreme Court laughingly claimed they could only find seventy-two unethical attorneys. By contrast, in 2019 they were only able to discover fifty-six (56) unethical/incompetent attorneys. At this rate, the Court should be able to declare that they could not find any dishonest attorneys by 2022 or 2023 at the latest.

And lastly, Washingtonians have the members of the Washington Supreme Court to thank for taking affirmative and appropriate steps to protect you and yours from unethical and/or incompetent attorneys.
