Attorney Thomas Fischgrund of St. Petersburg, FL; ethical elf

The state of Florida provided Thomas Neil Fischgrund with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the Stetson University School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Tommy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to clearly explain to his adoption entity clients the distinction between initial non-legal adoption entity services and subsequent legal work
• Allowed his non-attorney executive director to handle all dealings and maintain bookkeeping without adequate supervision
• Poor bookkeeping practices found for the adoption entity trust account had been rectified

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2020), Tommy practices at 7024 Central Avenue in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
