Attorney Philip Zipin of Silver Spring, MD; imbecilic slacker

The District of Columbia presented Michael M. Wilson with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from American University School of Law. Phil also received a license to practice in Maryland in 1983.

The DC Bar Counsel found Phil guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (imbecile)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to notify his client of a potential conflict of interest

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeal punished Phil by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2020), Phil practices his brand of law at 8757 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, Maryland.
