Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Failed to advise client regarding how she might exempt her vehicle to protect it from creditors

Failed to reasonably consult with his client regarding means by which her objectives were to be accomplished

Failed to explain to his client the options to the extent reasonably necessary to permit her to make informed decisions

Failed to notify client in writing she may be entitled to a refund of attorney fees if the representation was not completed by Mikey for any reason

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
