The state of Colorado presented Matthew S. Park with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from American University School of Law.

The Colorado State Bar found Matty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Assisted two nonlawyers in the illegal practice of law
• Paid himself $500 for work performed by nonlawyers
• Failed to keep adequate trust account records
• Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 90-days suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Matty.
