Former Magistrate Robert Bolton III of Grafton, WV; ethical troll

The state of West Virginia provided Robert L. Bolton III with a law license in 2014 after he graduated from the University of West Virginia School of Law.

The Judicial Investigation Commission found Bobby guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Illegally engaged in private practice of law from magistrate court despite being told to stop engaging in said practice
• Failed to comply with the law
• Failed to act in manner promoting public confidence in the judiciary
• Allowed personal activities to take precedence over judicial duties
• Engaged in extrajudicial activities that interfered with the proper performance of his judicial duties

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Investigation Commission punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. July 2020), Bobby practices his brand of law in Grafton, West Virginia.
