Judge Wayne Pebler of Roxbury, NY; ethical troll, repeat offender

The New York Commission on Judicial Conduct found Wayne guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in illegal ex parte (one-sided) communication
• Improperly commented about charges pending against a defendant
• Made comments that created appearance he was biased against a defendant

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Wayne’s First bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary caution engaging in improper ex parte communications with the parties and a non-party about a pending small claims matter.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Conduct Commission punished Wayne by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. July 2020), Wayne continues to sit as a Roxbury Town Court Justice of the Peace in Roxbury, New York.
