Judge David Corretore of Webster, NY; serial slacker

The state of New York presented David T. Corretore with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Albany School of Law.

The New York Commission on Judicial Conduct found Davie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to render decisions until long after the time required by the New York Uniform Justice Court Act
  • Case submitted May 5, 2015 but decision not rendered until May 29, 2019 (47 months)
  • Case submitted Feb 29, 2016 but decision not rendered until May 28, 2019 (38 months)
  • Case submitted Dec 18, 2017 but decision not rendered until May 29, 2019 (16 months)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Conduct Commission punished Davie by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. July 2020), Davie continues to sit as a Webster Town Court Justice of the Peace in Webster, New York.
