Attorney Sean Kinghorn of Jamaica; ethical troll

The Jamaica Licensing Commission provided Sean Kinghorn with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of West Indies.

The Disciplinary Committee of the General Legal Counsel found Sean guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Client unsuccessful in getting information on progress of his case
  • Breached his ethical responsibilities to his client
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Committee punished Leroy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and ordering that he pay a fine of $100,000.00 and assessed costs of $35,000.00.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Sean fails to mention the above misconduct on his self-serving website at www.kinghornja.com.com.   Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. August 2020), Sean practices with Kinghorn & Kinghorn Attorneys at Law at 16 Bravo Street in St. Ann’s Bay in St. Ann, Jamaica.
