Attorney Debbie Schell of Des Plaines, IL; lying loser

The state of Iowa presented Debbie M. Schell with a law license in 1995 after she graduated from the University of Illinois School of Law.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Debbi guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to file dissolution petition on client’s behalf
• Made misrepresentations [lied] to client about status of the case

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.
