Attorney Brandy Lee of Montgomery, AL; ethical goblin

The state of Alabama presented Brandy Murphy Lee with a law license in 2007 after she graduated from the Faulkner University School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Lee guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Committed several pro hac vice (admission in another jurisdiction) rule violations
  • Practiced before certain tribunals without permission or approval
  • Filed pleadings without the signature of local counsel
  • Practiced for a period in excess of two years after he pro hac vice status expired

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Lee by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Lee and her firm and fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.moxleylaw.com.  Apparently, they decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit their future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Lee practices with Moxley & Associates at 556 South Perry Street in Montgomery, Alabama.
