Attorney Shayana Davis of Birmingham, AL; ethical goblin

The state of Alabama presented Shayana Boyd Davis with a law license in 2000 after she graduated from Cumberland University School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Shay guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on his fitness to practice law
• Mishandled client funds
• Overdrew her trust account on multiple occasions
• Failed to maintain all trust account records

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Shay by gifting her with a complimentary 2 -year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Danny practices with Boyd Davis LLC at 3000 Crescent Avenue in Birmingham, Alabama.
