Attorney Robert Aitken III of Bemidji, MN; lying loser

The state of Minnesota presented Robert H. Aitken III with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Forged client signature on a plea petition
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Submitted forged petition to the court without client’s knowledge or consent
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Bobby!)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Made false statement of material fact to a tribunal

Because Attorney Misfits in Minnesota are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Bobby was never criminally charged with forgery.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Bobby practices at 2636 Pathway in Bemidji, Minnesota.
