Attorney Janet Lucente of Hollywood, FL; ethical goblin

The state of Florida presented Janet Peralta Lucente with a law license in 1997 after she graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law.

FYI: St. Thomas is ranked as the 169th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The State Bar of Florida found Janet guilty of the following misconduct.

• Found in contempt of court
• Failed to notify clients of license suspension
• Failed to notify opposing counsel of license suspension
• Failed to notify various tribunals of her license suspension

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Janet by gifting her with a complimentary 90-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2020) Janet practices with Personal Legal Services at 8570 Stirling Road in Hollywood, Florida.
