Attorney R. Gary Sundell of Southfield, MI; cheating loser

The state of Michigan presented R. Gary Sundell with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Wayne State University School of Law.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #6 found Gary guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to refund fees (cheater)
  • Failed to render candid advice to his client
  • Neglected various legal matters entrusted to him
  • Failed to communicate with his clients
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to keep client informed about status of matter
  • Failed to pay or deliver funds a client was entitled to receive
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct and/or knowingly assisted or induced another to do
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Gary by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license and was assessed investigative costs of $2,102.18.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Gary practices at 24655 Southfield Road in Southfield, Michigan.
