Attorney Jeffrey Sharp of Troy, MI; ethical troll

The state of Michigan presented Jeffrey R. Sharp with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Wayne State University School of Law. 

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #57 found Jeff guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Knowingly made false state of material fact to ethics investigators (Screw you, said Jeff!)
• Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended due to failure to pay annual bar dues
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Jeff!)
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Accepted and collected a new retainer or attorney fee after the date of the suspension of his law license
• Failed to respond to client phone calls

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Jeff practices with the Law Offices of Jeffrey R. Sharp PLC at 200 East Big Beaver Road in Troy, Michigan.
