Attorney Lee Steinberg of Southfield, MI; scamming loser

The state of Michigan provided Lee Be. Steinberg with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of Detroit School of Law.

FYI: The University Detroit is ranked as the 164th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #61 found Lee guilty of the following misconduct.

• Committed acts of professional misconduct by creating a fictitious case name and number to give the appearance that a case was pending so that he
• could obtain information via a subpoena
• Asserted an issue that was frivolous [BS] and had no basis for doing so
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Knowingly made a false statement of material fact or law to a third person
• Used methods of obtaining evidence that violated the legal rights of a third person
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed him costs of $756.96.

As one would suspect, Lee and his firm fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.1800leefree.com. Apparently, they chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. May 2020), Lee practices with the Law Offices of Lee Steinberg PC at 29777 Telegraph Road in Southfield, Michigan.
