Attorney Michael Hugo of Raleigh, NC; repeat offender

The state of North Carolina presented Michael P. Hugo with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Case Western University School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Mikey!)
• Allegedly engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Mikey’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2020) Mikey practices at 3939 Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, North Carolina.
