Attorney Reginald Kelly of Lillington, NC; deceitful loser

The state of North Carolina presented Reginald B. Kelly with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Campbell University School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Reggie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • In an advertisement, Reggie indicated that one needs "the best Winston-Salem personal injury lawyer available," about his law firm
  • The ads comparison to other firms could not be factually substantiated which was in violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct
  • Reggie’s ad indicated that a person needed the best Winston-Salem personal injury lawyer available; however, his firm did not have an office in Winston-Salem
  • Advertisement was misleading because there is no mention that the client may be ultimately responsible for reimbursing Reggie’s law firm for costs or litigation expenses his firm advanced on behalf of the client, even if there was no recovery

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2020) Bobby practices at 125 Bern Street in Charlotte, North Carolina.
