Attorney Arris King of Charlotte, NC; cheating loser

The state of North Carolina presented Arris N. King with a law license in 1998 after she graduated from the University of Akron School of Law.

FYI: The University of Akron is ranked as the 147th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Arris guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Retained an excessive fee (cheater)
  • Client paid $2,000 retainer yet Arris devoted less than 3 hours work on his case
  • Failed to timely file discovery responses on client’s behalf
  • Failed to timely communicate with opposing counsel about client deposition
  • Failed to appear at client’s deposition
  • Failed to return numerous phone calls from opposing counsel

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Arris by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2020) Arris practices the Legal Department with the Bank of America at 101 South Tryon Street in Charlotte, North Carolina.
