Attorney L. Keith Hance of Gastonia, NC; ethical gremlin

The state of North Carolina presented L. Keith Hance with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Akron School of Law.  

FYI: The University of Akron is ranked as the 147th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Keith guilty of the following misconduct.

• Listed phone number in yellow pages for office in Shelby, North Carolina despite not have an office located in Shelby
• Despite receive one or more warning letters about the Shelby phone number advertisement
• Keith failed to remove the advertisement from the yellow pages or have the telephone number disconnected (Up yours, said Keith!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Keith by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Keith fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.hanceandhance.com. Apparently, Keith decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2020) Keith practices at 317 South South Street in Gastonia, North Carolina.
