Attorney Don Bokovoy of Crescent City, CA; perjurer

The state of California provided Don Edward Bokovoy with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from Western State University School of Law.

FYI: Western State is ranked as the 168th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The State Bar Court found Donnie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Falsely reported under the penalty of perjury to the State Bar that he was in compliance with the MCLE (Mandatory Continuing Legal Education requirements
  • Falsely reported he completed 25 hours of MCLE education during the relevant compliance period when in fact he had not completed any hours at all
  • Committed an act involving moral turpitude, dishonesty, or corruption in willful violation of the California Business and Professions Code

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Donnie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in California are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Donnie was never criminally charged with perjury.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Donnie practices in Crescent City, California.
