Attorney Mary Ellen Young of Lee’s Summit, MO; ethically indigent

The state of Missouri presented Mary Ellen Trimiar Young with a law license in 1989.

In late 2011 a Disciplinary Hearing Panel found Mary guilty of the following misconduct:
  1. Conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  2. Failing to represent a client with due diligence (slacker)
  3. Failure to communicate with a client
As a consequence of her misconduct, the hearing panel recommended that Mary’s law license be suspended for one year. However, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Missouri Supreme Court ignored that recommendation and punished Mary by gifting her with a one-year term of probation.

As we speak (ca. April 2012) Mary continues to practice her brand of law in and around Lee’s Summit, Missouri, which is about 20 miles from downtown Kansas City.

If ya live in the Kansas City area and you're looking for a lazy, unethical attorney that won't return your calls, but will take your money, then you may want to consider hiring Mary Ellen.
