Attorney Cynthia Nichols of Jacksonville, FL; rubber check aficionado

The state of Florida presented Cynthia Leigh Nichols with a law license in 1981 after she graduated from Stetson University School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Cynthia guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Wrote at least two checks on insufficient funds account (rubber)
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to maintain minimum trust accounting records

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Cynthia by gifting her with a complimentary 3-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Cynthia practices with Jacksonville Wills on Wheels at 221 East Adams Street in Jacksonville, Florida.
