Attorney Richard M. Garbarini of New York City; liar, criminal

The state of New York presented Richard M. Garbarini with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Brooklyn Law School.

The 1st Appellate Division Disciplinary Counsel found Richard guilty of the following misconduct:
  1. Submitted a resume to a law firm that contained false information about his academic history and prior employment
  2. Submitted a sample memorandum to a law firm that he did not author
  3. Lied to the investigator that he was in fact the author of the sample memorandum
  4. Failed to disclose on his bar application in 1999 that he was convicted of driving under the influence
  5. Was convicted of possession of cocaine
  6. Convicted of disorderly conduct on two occasions
As a consequence of his criminal convictions and serial lying, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Commission punished Dick by gifting him with a censure.

As we speak (ca. April 2012) Richard practices with Garbarini Fitzgerald P.C. at 420 Lexington Avenue in New York City.

On his website at www.garbarinilaw.com, Dick doesn’t inform future clients of his criminal convictions and the fact that he’s a serial liar. I guess Dick doesn’t want to take any chances on limiting his future victim pool
