Attorney Randall Sterling of San Diego; lying loser

The state of California presented Randall Curtis Sterling with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Western State University School of Law.

FYI: Western State is ranked as the 168th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The State Bar Court found Randy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Lied that he was in full compliance with his Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) requirements when he knew that he was not in compliance
• Lied by telling the State Bar that his MCLE records were destroyed in a fire when he never had such records
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Randy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the State Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Randy.
