Attorney Scott Liotta of Orlando, FL; slacker, loser

The state of Florida presented Scott Jerry Liotta with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law.

FYI: St. Thomas is ranked as the 169th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The State Bar of Florida found Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to comply with client information requests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Barry by gifting him with a complimentary 10-day suspension of his law license.

As one would suspect, Scotty and his firm fail to mention the aforementioned misconduct on their self-serving website at www.newlinlaw.com. Apparently, they decided to conceal said information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. May 2020) Scotty practices with Dan Newlin & Partners at 7335 West Sand Lake Road in Orlando, Florida.
